Company Overview │ PharmaSTAR Milestones │ Core Competency

Company Overview:
PharmaSTAR is a biopharmaceutical company focused on development and commercialization of the treatment of cardiovascular, diabetic, psychiatric, neurologic, oncology disorders. We believe that our advanced understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry combined with our clinical development expertise provide us with the capability to discover novel therapies, as well as identify, license or acquire products that address serious, debilitating disorders that are not adequately treated with available therapies. PharmaSTAR focuses on capturing under-exploited pharmaceutical opportunities between Taiwan, Asian Pacific, and Global markets.

PharmaSTAR has three sources of products for its core portfolio.

Firstly, PharmaSTAR in-licenses Taiwanese rights to marketed compounds or compounds in a relatively late-stage of clinical development from US/EU companies. PharmaSTAR manages all aspects of drug development including registration, launch and commercialization in Taiwan.

Secondly, PharmaSTAR collaborations with best-of-breed biotechnology companies to find new medical uses for well-characterized compounds.

Thirdly, PharmaSTAR selectively acquires products and technologies from universities both in Taiwan, Japan, and US/EU. In addition, PharmaSTAR is also the sole agent of some potential generic drugs produced by our strategic alliances.

Vision:
To be the best biopharmaceutical companies with a strong product pipeline that fits main medical needs by continuously updating our knowledge, improving our capabilities and collaborating seamlessly with strategic alliances.

Mission:
Provide timely, effective, and safe medications to make people live better and have the best quality of life.
